Rainbow Fair Family & Community Day

One of the most vibrant days of the festival, Rainbow Fair Day brings together the community for a full day of celebration, connection and pride.

Enjoy a free sausage sizzle, market stalls, merchandise, face painting, music and activities for all ages in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Throughout the day, experience an exciting lineup of live entertainment including the Jabat Dance Troupe, Jake Plumb, the Acrobatch Circus Act, dazzling drag performances and interactive dance workshops.

With food vendors, coffee vans and plenty to see and do, it’s a day where the whole community can come together and celebrate Pride in the Pilbara.

Rainbow Yoga - Pilaties in the Square

9:00am – 10:30am

Start the day with gentle movement, mindfulness and connection in a relaxed outdoor setting. This inclusive session welcomes all experience levels and offers a calm and supportive space to begin your day.

Pride WA Rainbow Games Carnival

10:30am – 12:30pm

Registration from 8:00am*

A fun and energetic event featuring inclusive games designed to celebrate participation, teamwork and community spirit. Perfect for all ages and abilities.

Rainbow Pride Walk

12:30pm – 1:30pm

Join families, friends and supporters as they walk together in a colourful celebration of pride, visibility and unity through South Hedland.

Dreamtime Stories & Dancing

2:00pm – 3:00pm

Gather to experience storytelling and dance led by Uncle George Pitt, Uncle Bruce Thomas and Aunty Jeanette Dhu, celebrating culture, connection and shared community.
