Pilbara Pride Parade

Saturday 21st June

9:00am-10:30am

All LGBTQIA+ colour and noise will fill the streets of downtown Port Hedland as our community comes together in one powerful display of visibility, pride and unity.

Businesses, organisations, community groups, families and supporters are invited to take part in this vibrant celebration as the parade moves through the Port Hedland CBD. Whether you’re marching, creating a float or cheering from the sidelines, this is your moment to stand proudly and be seen.

Come cheer on our community as they march with courage, colour and celebration through the heart of Hedland.

How to Enter a Float

We are calling on local businesses, organisations, sporting clubs, schools and community groups to enter a float and be part of this unforgettable moment.

Floats can be bold and creative or simple and proud, what matters most is your visible support for inclusion in the Pilbara.

All floats must be registered prior to the event.

Registrations close Wednesday 17 June. No late entries can be accepted.

March as an Individual

Individuals, families and supporters are also welcome to march in the parade.

If you don’t have a float but want to be part of the celebration, you can register to walk alongside the community. Your presence helps strengthen visibility and solidarity across the region.

Registrations close Wednesday 17 June. No late entries can be accepted.

Safety & Arrival Information

Participants are asked to arrive early to allow time for staging and marshalling before the parade begins.

Parade personnel entry points and assembly areas will be clearly marked. Volunteers and parade marshals will be on hand to guide floats and participants into position.

We ask all participants to follow instructions from marshals to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Spectators are encouraged to line the streets of the Port Hedland CBD and show their support respectfully and safely.
